Hello ALL ASL students!
During this wonderful time of digital enrichment we have reached out to an online-based ASL curriculum company, ASLDeafined (get it? Deafined? Lol). They have generously agreed to waive their fees so that you all can continue to maintain your ASL skills and can see other signers during this closure, all of whom happen to be Deaf (no Tyrone though :o ). It contains signing resources applicable to all our ASL students regardless of level. If you would like an access code for this optional online practice tool email Mrs. Friedli your first and last name, grade, ASL level and your best email address to be reached at BY 3PM TODAY- Tuesday the 31st!!!.
To be clear- this is free, optional, not for a grade or DCP, and awesome.
Mrs.Friedli’s email address is Friedlip@issaquah.wednet.edu
We hope you take advantage of this amazing opportunity- stay safe, healthy, and away from us :P
This week I would like students to continue working on keeping up their ASL skills using tools already discussed in prior messages as well as:
Sign1News
Fingerspell.net
Handspeak
Moreover, I would like ASL 1 students to review Unit 2 in their books, as well as use this practice video test to check your skill- make sure to write answers on a separate piece of paper or word document.

Answer document is here (make sure to do the work first)
Please journal at least weekly (preferably daily) in both your first language and ASL on what has been going on with you. This will help you process these strange times. Watch the videos to the left before following this link. Email me if you do not have the code at: harrisr2@issaquah.wednet.edu
