As usual, friends get together and play music, and the idea soon lit up, "let's do this live!" After a multi-year rotation of people, some being re-treads and rejoining, we settled on a name when someone made a comment, "I don't know, ask Dylan." We don't play any Dylan, Dylan didn't want us to do that, but we went with it for the Dad Band. Now, the personnel have been set for quite a while. There have been no spontaneously combusting drummers or bass players, so even the rhythm section is settled into a groove. 80s college rock is our main bread and butter, but we reach far beyond that to 60s, a little prog rock when we can get away with it, plus some songs from the 90s and beyond. We love the music, and we love to play live. That shows, and the audience is included and part of it all. Come see!
