I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Peace and Conflict Studies at the National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad. Before joining NDU, I worked as a Community Development Advisor ( KPK) with UNICEF. I have acquired an interdisciplinary doctorate in “Development Studies” in a joint venture of Oslo and Lisbon University, Portugal. My PhD thesis has been awarded a title of “Distinction Cum Laude” by ISEG, Portugal. I remained a part of reputable research organizations, and think tanks in different European countries. Academically, I have produced several research articles on conflict analysis, security-development nexus, women empowerment, SDGs, and conflict methodology in high-impact international journals.
