入館須知 Admission Rules 

敬請遵守以下規定，以維護圖書館環境。Please follow the rules below to ensure a safe environment in the library.

• 請勿攜帶任何違禁品，或寵物。導盲犬及其他服務性動物除外。
  Please do not bring in any contraband goods or pets, with the exception of guide dogs and other service animals.

• 行動電話等個人設備，請將之設為靜音模式。
  Phones or personal devices must be set to vibrate or silent mode.

• 任何人不得以噪音、肢體暴力或任何其他不合理之手段，干擾他人使用圖書館。
  No one shall disturb the work or comfort of another person in the library in an unreasonable manner by creating unreasonable noise, physical violence, or other unreasonable means.

流通規則 Circulation Services Policies
本院各圖書館規則有所不同，詳參各圖書館公告。 Please note that circulation policies may vary among AS libraries. For detailed information, please refer to the announcements of each respective library.

  • 期限：12個月
    Loan Period: 12 months.

• 院內各所研究人員、本所國際學程研究生
  AS research fellows and scientists; IES TIGP students

  • 種類：圖書
    Material type: Books

  • 冊數：30冊（本所）
    # of items: up to 30 items (at IES).

  • 期限：3個月
    Loan Period: 2 months. 

• 全院博士後研究員、訪問學人、退休研究人員
  AS postdoctoral research fellows, visiting scholars, and retired research fellows and scientists

  • 種類：圖書
    Material type: Books.

  • 冊數：50冊（全院）
    # of items: up to 50 items (across Academia Sinica).

  • 期限：3個月
    Loan Period: 3 months. 

• 全院編制行政技術人員、約聘僱助理；院士
  AS staff, assistants; Academicians

  • 種類：圖書
    Material type: Books.

  • 冊數：30冊（全院）
    # of items: up to 50 items (across Academia Sinica).

  • 期限：2個月
    Loan Period: 2 months. 

• 全院退休編制行政技術人員
  Retired AS staff

  • 種類：圖書
    Material type: Books.

  • 冊數：5冊（全院）
    # of items: up to 5 items (across Academia Sinica).

  • 期限：2個月
    Loan Period: 2 months. 

• 院外人士(相關科系領域)
  Visitors in related fields

  • 種類：圖書
    Material type: Books

  • 冊數：5冊（全院）
    # of items: up to 5 items (across Academia Sinica).

  • 期限：1個月
    Loan Period: 1 month. 

  • 院外人士借書，必要時得要求以有效證件抵押或押金。
    If necessary, we may request the deposit of a guarantee or valid documents for the borrowing of the books.

• 借閱圖書資源時，請攜帶有效圖書借閱證，將欲借閱圖書及借閱證交給館員，辦理借書手續。
  Patrons may check out items with a valid library card at the service desk.

• 借出圖書資源若於借出時已有本所人員預約，借期將縮短。
  If a book is requested by another IES patron upon checking out, the loan period will be shortened.

• 借出圖書資源若無人預約或未被圖書館催還，得續借2次。
  Items that have not been requested by another patron or recalled by the library are eligible for renewal. Patrons may renew circulating items up to 2 times.

• 借出圖書資源不得劃線或污損，並應準時歸還，若借出當下已有污損，請立即告知館員。
  Patrons are responsible for returning borrowed items on time and in good condition. Any defect or damage to a book should be reported to the librarians immediately. 

• 借閱圖書資料須於規定期限內歸還，如有逾期，除暫停其借閱權利，並依《中央研究院各所圖書館統一服務收費標準表》逾期罰款處理，每冊(件)每逾期 1 日罰款新臺幣$ 5 元整，並自逾期之首日開始計算，至還書之日止。
  Patrons must return borrowed items by the due date. Failure to do so will result in the suspension of borrowing privileges and an overdue fine of NT$5 per item per day, calculated from the first day of the overdue period until the date the item is returned. Fines are handled in accordance with <Academia Sinica's regulations on library service fee>.

• 借出圖書若有遺失或嚴重毀損，借閱者應依《中央研究院各所圖書館統一服務收費標準表》賠償。
  Patrons will be responsible for loss or damage to any book in their records, and will be required to pay the full value of replacement.  <Academia Sinica's regulations on library service fee>

• 於館內使用的圖書資源，若不需要借出，請放置於還書車，或交由館員歸架。
  Please place the books that need to be put away on the return cart and leave the shelving to the librarians.
