Asia Pacific Sprint Cup was initiated by Australia, New Zealand and Japan as host nations to develop U21 paddling sports in the Asia Pacific region. In 2025 Japan is hosting from Lake Kiba in Komatsu city, Ishikawa. For the event, the Organizing Committee consists of Japan Canoe Federation, Ishikawa Prefecture, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Canoe Association and Komatsu Canoe Association. This competition is open to athletes from the ICF member NFs belonging to Oceanian Canoe Association and the Asian Canoe Confederation.
The Cup
Not only host nations but also other nations and regions, and all competitors entering this event, will be entitled to win the Asia Pacific Sprint Cup, medals and titles as appropriate by permission of the host nations.
