The second-most senior position at Lantern, our Managing Director, holds responsibility for chapters and for our Global Development and Engagement teams.

Our Finance VP manages accounts, conducts internal audits and reviews and approves expenditures. It plays an essential role in the sustainability of Lantern.

The Strategy team supports the long term growth, expansion and enrichment of AAYA. They support our operations by conducting detailed market research, exploring potential high value partnerships, evaluating the efficacy of existing operations and identifying unique growth opportunities.
Internals Vice President
Internals Vice President
The Internals team lead our recruitment process, screening and onboarding Global Directors. They also create and develop our internal team functions, supporting AAYA's community. Our Internals VP also handles secretarial work and development training for AAYA's teams.

The Externals VP leads AAYA's partnerships and sponsorships work. They manage our highest-level industry, government and community relations, develop our prospectus and lead our Externals team.

Our Asia Literacy team is responsible for our Asia Australia Emerging Leaders Awards and a global policy competition.

Our Culture team is responsible for the Hongxue Prize for Literature, our volunteering activities and other community engagement.

The Careers team is responsible for the Asia Australia Careers Expos and AAYA's Internship program, alongside other professional development programs.

The Events Vice President leads the development of AAYA's flagship conference, the Asia Australia Emerging Leaders Summit.

The Publications team is responsible for AAYA's newsletter and other writing activities, including opinion pieces and longer-format articles, and our careers and scholarships guide.

At AAYA, Directors work with our Pillar and Portfolio Vice Presidents. They support a wide range of activities from event planning to marketing and digital design to managing stakeholder engagement.
The required time commitment is 2-4 hours a week.
