Call for Papers
To facilitate interdisciplinary research in artificial social intelligence, we invite researchers from computing and robotics (Computer Vision, NLP, HCI, HRI), psychology, neuroscience, and sociology to join our workshop and discuss underlying technical challenges, goals, and ethics of building artificial social intelligence. In parallel, our workshop will co-host the inaugural Social-IQ Challenge on multimodal video QA for artificial social intelligence.
Papers from the workshop and challenge will be included in ICCV workshop proceedings.
Two Paper Submission Tracks
There will be 2 paper submission tracks: one track for papers participating in the Social-IQ Challenge and one track for general workshop papers.
Social-IQ Teams will submit papers on their approach and findings. All details about Social-IQ Challenge participaton can be found on the challenge website.
General workshop papers can be focused on any topics related to artificial social intelligence, including (but not limited to) the following areas:
social signal processing (e.g., turn-taking prediction)
social behavior, emotion, pose, and/or trajectory prediction by virtual and embodied agents
social behavior and emotion generation in virtual and embodied agents
applications of artificial social intelligence
Papers can be up to 6 pages in length (excluding references) and formatted using the ICCV template. All submissions should be anonymous. An optional appendix can be included, after references, with no page limit for the appendix.
