About

I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, South Asian University (SAU). Before joining SAU, I was working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering at IIT Ropar. I completed my PhD in Computer Science from IIIT Delhi, where I worked under the guidance of Dr. Jainendra Shukla. My research sits at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with a strong focus on developing technology-driven solutions for neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism. I am deeply interested in behavioural signal processing and machine intelligence, particularly in understanding and modelling human behaviour for healthcare applications.  My work aims to develop cost-effective and contextually relevant solutions for resource-constrained settings, bridging the gap between advanced technology and real-world accessibility in the assistive healthcare domain.

I am looking for motivated PhD students to join my research group. If you are passionate about HCI and exploring how Artificial Intelligence can bring positive changes in people’s lives, I’d love to hear from you.  Feel free to reach out with your CV and research interests.
