Besides conducting research, I have enjoyed teaching classes, interacting with students, understanding their concerns, and improving their learning outcomes. I have taught two classes as an instructor: an online class in International Economics (EconS 320) and an in-person class in Fundamentals of Microeconomics (EconS 101).
As a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) for two semesters, I taught introductory data analysis using STATA to senior students in the capstone course (EconS 490). I graded their assignments, projects, and exams, and provided feedback for learning improvement. Additionally, I served as a GTA for two semesters for the Fundamentals of Macroeconomics (EconS 102) course.
My experience as a GTA and instructor has allowed me to learn about the issues that hinder students' learning. It has also enhanced my understanding of methods that are more effective in communicating course materials to students. My average student evaluation for the fundamentals course is 4.4/5, and I strive to excel in my teaching so that students find it easy to learn in my courses.
