A Little About Me

I am currently a Fellow at the European Southern Observatory (ESO), Garching.

My research interests include the processes controlling high-mass star and stellar cluster formation within (infrared dark) molecular clouds throughout both Milky Way - from the disc to the Galactic Centre - to (giant) molecular clouds in nearby extragalactic systems, and how we can constrain these using observational tools (e.g. molecular line emission). Recently, I have begun pursuing an exciting new avenue of applying my expertise to studying the effects of stellar feedback on its surroundings as a function of environmental properties.

I primarily work with observations taken with a variety of telescopes (interferometric and single dish) over a range of wavelengths (millimetre, sub-millimetre radio to optical and infrared) - which include, but are not limited to, ALMA, NOEMA, IRAM-30m, VLT/MUSE, HST, Spitzer, and Herschel, and soon JWST.

A Little More About Me

I was (see left) previously a post-doctoral researcher at the The Argelander-Institut für Astronomie (AIfA), University in Bonn.
