As a social media and distribution intern for MPU, I maintained the organization's social media presence by creating informative graphics and threads. I also developed a deep well of sources to inform my understanding of subject-matter issues, from disability justice to food scarcity to politics. I also produced original stories through vertical videos and reported articles.

As the Evening News Anchor for WBHF, I attended and reported on city council, board of education, and commission meetings in Bartow County. I also gathered stories from the area and delivered them to our audience from a local perspective. Every weekday, I hosted the live evening newscast, informing the public about community issues as well as real-time traffic and weather updates. 

I received the 2022 GABBY Award for Excellence in Broadcasting: Best General Assignment Reporting in Small Market Radio and the 2022 GABBY Merit Award for Best Feature Story in Small Market Radio for the work I produced during this time.

During my time as Editor-in-Chief of The Uproar, Columbus State University's award-winning student-run news source, our publication won the prestigious Pacemaker Award for our March 2020 issue. Along with supervising, I also filed storires, drew illustrations, hosted the radio show, and managed the publication's social media presence.
