Ashley Cryan is a data scientist and engineer. Her research incorporates principles of coastal ecology and urbanism, particularly in addressing projected risks from climate change.

Her career in data science has spanned across continents, including positions at CBRE@Google, Delft University of Technology, Deltares, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, San Francisco State University,  and MIT. She is the author of several publications on ecological design and research methods. 

Ashley holds an MS in Marine and Environmental Science from Northeastern University.
