During this time, I reviewed common core standards and unpacked the standard that I planned to teach during my clinical teaching. I decided on some clear and concise goals for my unit planning and wrote some example lesson plans that I wanted to teach. I evaluated various classes each week and discussed how standards were met or were not met in each class as well as gave constructive feedback for improvement. For the final class evaluations, I reviewed both a special education class and an ESL class to understand the differences between giving support to various learners. I reviewed the standards for each class and gave constructive feedback and suggestions to improve the support for the special needs and ESL student lessons.
