Teaching and Mentoring

Teaching

  • Graduate Teaching Assistant, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, CO, USA

    • CVEN 3111: Analytical Mechanics 2 (Dynamics) - Spring 2018, 2019

      • Course Description: Studies the motion (kinematics) of particles and rigid bodies, and the forces that cause the motion (kinetics). Newton’s laws, as well as energy methods, are used to study the motion of particles and rigid bodies in two and three dimensions.

    • CVEN 2121: Analytical Mechanics 1 (Statics) - Fall 2016, 2017

      • Course Description: Examines vector treatment of force systems and their resultants; equilibrium of frames and machines, including internal forces and three-dimensional configurations; static friction; properties of surfaces, including first and second moments; hydro-statics; and minimum potential energy and stability.

    • CVEN 3161: Mechanics of Material - Spring 2016, 2017

      • Course Description: Studies the mechanics and behavior of engineering materials, namely columns, rods, and beams subject to tension, compression, shear, torsion, bending, and buckling. Other course topics include a review of static equilibrium, material failure criteria, stress transformation, and an introduction to structural design and analysis.

  • Laboratory Instructor, Department of Civil Engineering, University of Colorado Boulder, CO, USA
