I am Ashish, Prime Minister Research Fellow (PMRF) at the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. I earned my bachelor's degree from Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra and a master's degree in Physics from IIT Ropar. I did my master's thesis research on 'Studies on the emission properties of nitrogen vacancy centers in nanodiamonds' in the research group, LaNOM of Dr. Rajesh V. Nair. It further motivated me to join the LaNOM group as a Ph.D. scholar. My current research topic is 'Studies on the quantum emission and sensing properties of nitrogen vacancy color centers'.
