Hello, and welcome!
I am Ashish Raj, a researcher at the Chair of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, TUM School of Management, Technical University of Munich, Germany. I am a Ph.D. in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai. My Ph.D. thesis was on Modelling and Analysis of Q-Commerce Supply Chain.
I pursued my M.Tech degree in Structural Engineering in 2021 from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, where I conducted research on Seismic Analysis of an Open Ground Storey Building. Before that, I earned my Bachelor’s degree (B.E.) in Civil Engineering in 2018 from the Birla Institute of Technology Mesra, where I conducted an undergraduate research project on Ganga Sand for Construction Purposes and developed leadership skills through active involvement in technical fests and the National Service Scheme (NSS).
My research focuses on optimization, game theory, and reinforcement learning for resilient and data-driven supply chain decision-making, particularly in Q-commerce and last-mile logistics. My work has been published in leading journals, including Transportation Research Part E and the International Journal of Production Economics.
Beyond academics, I am passionate about continuous learning, exploring new ideas and places, and creative expression. I enjoy writing poems and short stories, reading autobiographies, and playing table tennis and chess.
