Fun Friday & Homework

Homework for Reading and or Science will go home on Monday and is due on Friday. This ensures that everyone has ample time to complete the practice assignment. 

Homework is a great way to practice what we are learning in class and for home to stay connected. 

It is excpected that ALL strategies be used and implemented on homework assignments in order to receieve credit. 

• Name on paper 

• Key words circled 

• Proof or evidence of the answer underlined in the text

• Written responses are completed with quality and uses evidence from the text

Homework is a requirmenet for earning Fun Friday and other classroom rewards. 

On Friday afternoons, the class will have the opportunity to earn Fun Friday. 

Some of the activities include games, an arts and crafts project, an educational movie, or other fun activities. 

Students who have clipped down on the clip chart may be excluded from some activities.

 Students who have not finished their work for the week will not be able to participate in Fun Friday.

In order to be apart of Fun Friday, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Behavior remains on green or no more than one yellow all week.

• Met iReady goals for the week.

• Did their best on classwork and Friday assessments.

• Homework completed for the week.

If they did not earn fun Friday they will continue to work on any unfinished work, alternate assignment, or have reflection time.
