My primary research interests revolve around: (i) polymer field theory (in the context of liquid crystalline polymers, polymer matrix membrane interactions as well as dynamic polymer field theory), (ii) path integral methods in polymer physics (role of active forces on the dynamics of polymers and rheology of polyelectrolyte complexes) and, (iii) understanding aspects of slow dynamics in glassy systems and polymers (particularly using non-equilibrium statistical mechanical ideas to create microscopic force-based theory of systems exhibiting slow dynamics).
