WACHUSETT-WATATIC INDIVISIBLE NETWORK

BRAVER ANGELS WORKSHOP

Sunday, Aug 16th, 1- 3 pm, Winchendon Housing Authority's Ipswich Community Room (108 Ipswich Dr., Winchendon).  The next weeks are going to challenge us in many ways, and that likely includes talking to people who don't understand the current authoritarian takeover as deeply as you do.  WWIN has invited volunteers from Braver Angels to lead an interactive workshop to help each of us reflect on and work through our own polarization, preparing us to have better conversations in these situations.

BE BRAVE VISIBILITY BRIGADE

The Visibility Brigade organization is running Be Brave Days: Profiles in Courage, a month-long visibility action honoring those who have shown true bravery in the face of fascism in the U.S. over this past year. VB groups across the country will present the message BE BRAVE LIKE (name of hero) at their overpasses and share the stories of these heroes and their successes. The goal is to inspire more people to be brave in the face of tyranny — and, in November, to show up at the polls in droves.

Join WWIN on the overpass in Westminster on Sunday, August 30 from 2:00–3:30pm with the message BE BRAVE LIKETHE SURVIVORS. The Epstein survivors have been fighting for justice for a long time. We are going on the bridge to honor and join them in their demand for accountability and respect.

CONSTITUTION EVENT

WWIN is hosting a Constitution refresher with Professor Kyle Hull from Fitchburg State University. Several of us have heard him speak and learned a lot from his lively presentation.

The event will take place in the Eloranta Room at Forbush Memorial Library, 118 Main St., Westminster, on Tuesday evening, September 29. More details coming soon — save the date!
