As part of an academic program, students visited different libraries and museums in Bhavnagar to learn more about the city’s cultural and intellectual heritage. The trip provided a chance to explore historical documents, rare books, and important literary works, making learning more interesting beyond regular studies.

The visit included Gandhi Smriti, a museum dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, where rare letters, documents, and artifacts about his life were displayed. At Barton Library, one of Gujarat’s oldest libraries, a wide collection of historical and literary books reflected the city’s rich literary tradition. The Central Library of the University introduced students to academic books, research materials, and digital resources useful for higher education. The trip also included the Pattani Archives & Library, which holds rare historical records and royal documents, offering valuable insights into Bhavnagar’s history.
