Research

My current research lands in the intersection of geometric group theory and algorithmic group theory. That is, I study how we can use geometric properties of groups to make algorithms to solve problems in those groups, and what those algorithms can tell us about a group's geometry.

My projects and papers include:

  • The falsification by fellow traveler property implies autostackability, preprint available at https://arxiv.org/abs/2209.11912

  • A procedure to find autostackable structures

    • The paper is still in preparation, but you can see the annotated slides for a presentation I gave on the topic.
