I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Managerial Economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE).  I joined the department in 2024. 

My research sits at the intersection of economics and political science, where I study institutions, populism, and policy-relevant questions using empirical methods and original data. While Latin America is an important focus of my work, I also pursue comparative projects spanning a broader range of countries.
