ASEAN Central Bank Signal
From statements to market signals - Quantifying monetary policy communication
From statements to market signals - Quantifying monetary policy communication
About
I developed the ASEAN Central Bank Signal to make central bank communication more accessible and easier to interpret for investors, economists, and financial market analysts.
For nearly a decade, I have researched and applied sentiment analysis in my day-to-day economic and market analysis. This website brings together that work by translating lengthy central bank statements into concise, data-driven indicators of monetary policy sentiment. The objective is not to replace traditional analysis, but to complement it with a consistent and transparent framework for assessing changes in policy communication over time.
The sentiment engine, data extraction process, and analytical framework are independently developed and maintained by me, drawing on established academic research and continuously refined as new evidence and methodologies emerge. While no quantitative model can fully capture the nuances of central bank communication, every effort is made to ensure the analysis is rigorous, transparent, and methodologically sound.
The findings presented on this website are intended for informational and research purposes only and should be interpreted alongside broader macroeconomic and market analysis.
