About the ASEAN- Cambodia Business Summit

The 2023 ASEAN-Cambodia Business Summit brings together economic players from Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Vietnam via a 2-day event focused on promoting integration and connectivity within the Mekong Region to promote it as an important economic sub region in ASEAN.

With 200 million people living in this region (excl. Myanmar) and its proximity to China’s Yunnan province, the Mekong Region is becoming an economic powerhouse within ASEAN. Cambodia, centrally located, is making impressive progress in infrastructure development and aims to become a regional logistics hub.

This first business summit of its kind is organised around a series of keynote presentations and panel discussions, and in partnership with European chambers of commerce in the region, and the EU–ASEAN Business Council.

During the forum, EuroCham will launch its flagship publication, the “White Book 2023", its highly anticipated publication supporting the Cambodian Government in its efforts to improve the ease of doing business in Cambodia; it is a key resource for businesses to gain crucial insights into key economic sectors.

Expected participants of the ASEAN Business Summit include senior members of regional governments, EU officials and representatives of the European and Mekong business communities.
