My name is Ayisha Deloatch. After 8 years of being in the classroom, I decided to transition to the field of instructional design.
When the pandemic hit, like everyone else, I was forced to work remotely. It was through this major shift in history, that I found my passion for instructional design. While working virtually, I facilitated professional developments to train adults how to navigate multiple learning management systems and a web conferencing platform. I designed and developed diverse, engaging virtual-led trainings (vILT) for adults and students alike. This led to increase productivity and student academic progress for my company.
To increase my knowledge in the field, I joined a program called Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA) founded by Jill Davidian where I learned to hone my skills in industry tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, Vyond, and Camtasia. Furthermore, I use the many transferrable skills I have developed over the years such as knowing how to interact with people of many diverse ethnicities and backgrounds, being a team player, having flexibility in a fast paced and changing environment, communicating effectively with stakeholders and community leaders, patience, empathy, and using my equity eye to look for solutions to problems by asking the right questions.
Allow me the opportunity to use my talents, skills, and diverse background to help your company increase productivity and revenue.
