Welcome to the Cranston YMCA x Hugh B. Bain Middle School After School Collaborative! We are excited to work with you all this academic year to create real world hands on learning opportunities for your students.
Mission :
The Cranston YMCA After School Collaborative is committed to providing rigorous and engaging programs and workshops that allows students to develop both socially and academically outside of the typical school day.
Our Program
The Cranston YMCA After School Collaborative is a brand new addition to our programming for the 2024 - 2025 year. The program is focused on providing after school programming for students at Hugh B. Bain Middle school four days a week and a summer program for rising sixth graders. Each portion of the program is overseen by the Cranston YMCA after school team who collaborates with partner organizations to ensure students and families are receiving quality services and support. Our team is made up of six after school leaders, enrichment program providers, and outside coordinators. This includes the Cranston Public School Department, Health Equity Zone, The Institute of Labor, and the Rhode Island Department of Education.
