Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains our privacy practices for all Ascent Studios, LLC
applications available on different platforms, including Sheep Path: Find the
Way Home. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy and
how we treat information collected from our users. Your use of any of our
applications indicates your agreement to the Privacy Policy laid out below.
1. PERSONAL AND NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do not ask you for, and we do not collect, your name, email address, phone
number, photos, contacts, files, or precise location. Our games have no
accounts and no sign-in.
Your game progress - levels completed, stars, coins and your sound settings -
is stored only on your own device. It never leaves your phone, we cannot see
it, and uninstalling the app deletes it.
The following information is collected by the third-party services built into
our apps:
a) Advertising identifier
Google AdMob reads your device's advertising ID (AAID) to select and
measure ads, to limit how often the same ad is shown, and to detect
invalid or fraudulent ad traffic. Our apps declare the
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission for this purpose.
b) App activity and device information
Google Firebase Analytics records in-app events such as the app being
opened, a level being started and a level being finished, together with
general device information: device model, operating system version,
language and country.
c) Crash and diagnostic data
Firebase records technical information when an app stops unexpectedly, so
that we can find and fix the fault.
d) Approximate region derived from IP address
Google's ad and analytics services infer an approximate region (usually
country level) from your IP address. Our apps do not request or use your
device's GPS location, and they hold no location permission.
e) Install referrer
Google Play reports how the app was installed, which tells us how many
people found the game and from where.
We do not request permission for, and do not collect, your contacts, photos,
camera, microphone, files, SMS, phone state or precise location.
This information is not stored on any server of ours. We hold no database of
our users.
2. WHY WE COLLECT IT
- To show advertising, which is how our games are paid for and why they can
be offered free of charge.
- To understand how our games are played in aggregate, so that levels can be
made clearer and fairer.
- To diagnose crashes and performance problems.
- To prevent fraud and invalid ad traffic.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to build a personal profile of
you outside the advertising purposes described above.
3. COPPA AND CHILDREN
Our applications comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
("COPPA"). Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a user
identifies himself or herself as a child under 13 through a support request, we
will not collect, store or use, and will delete in a secure manner, any
personal information of such user.
4. THIRD PARTY SERVICES AND ADVERTISING
The services below receive the information described in section 1 and handle it
under their own privacy policies. Our privacy policy has no effect on their
practices, and we do not take part in their operation:

We do not share data with anyone else, and we do not transfer it to any party
other than as described here or where the law requires it.
5. YOUR ADVERTISING CHOICES
You can limit ad tracking at any time from your device:
- Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads > "Delete advertising ID", which stops
apps from receiving your advertising ID, or "Reset advertising ID", which
gives you a new one and breaks the link to past activity.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland,
our apps show a Google-certified consent message the first time you play. Your
choice there decides whether you see personalised or non-personalised ads, and
you can change it later from the privacy options the app offers.
6. SOCIAL MEDIA
Our apps do not integrate any social media service such as Facebook, X
(Twitter), or similar online services, and they do not post anything on your
behalf.
7. HOW LONG DATA IS KEPT
Game progress stays on your device until you delete the app.
Data held by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained under Google's own retention
schedules, described in the policies linked in section 4. We do not keep a
separate copy.
8. SECURITY
All data our apps send travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Because our
apps have no accounts and store nothing on our servers, there is no user
database of ours that could be breached.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or
delete personal data held about you, or to object to its processing.
Because we hold no user database, the fastest way to erase what an app has
contributed is to reset or delete your advertising ID as described in section 5
and uninstall the app. For data held by Google, please use the controls in your
Google Account or contact Google directly. You may also write to us at the
address in section 11 and we will help where we can.
10. RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time by posting the amended
policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date, without directly informing
our users. We therefore encourage you to review this policy from time to time.
