ASCENT 2026 is a one-of-a-kind workshop that explores High-Performance Computing (HPC), Edge Computing, and the critical intersection of the two, along with the unique challenges that arise when combining these domains. It welcomes original research contributions, forward-looking ideas, and practical experiences that investigate each area individually as well as their integration, especially in the context of AI-driven, large-scale, and distributed systems. As edge platforms grow more capable and the demands on distributed applications intensify, blending HPC principles with edge computing presents both significant challenges and exciting opportunities. Through ASCENT, we aim to bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss innovative architectures, algorithms, systems, and real-world use cases that will shape the future of HPC, edge, and their combined ecosystems.

All submissions must use the official LaTeX ACM article template acmart.cls, version 1.80 or greater, with the following document class declaration (Templates are available at https://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template): \documentclass[sigconf,authordraft]{acmart}
Papers should not exceed 6 pages (double-column), including figures, tables, and references, in standard ACM format.
The workshop will employ a double-blind reviewing process. Submissions must not reveal author identities in any form. Author names, affiliations, and email addresses should not appear anywhere in the submission. Do not omit or anonymize critical references. Use third-person references to your prior work (e.g., replace “as we have shown before” with “as shown before in [X]”).
