Forest of Reading
The Forest of Reading program, organized by the Ontario Library Association in Canada, is a comprehensive initiative designed to instill a passion for reading and highlight the richness of Canadian literature.
The White Pine program, a component of the Forest of Reading initiative, specifically targets high school students. It introduces a curated list of Canadian fiction and non-fiction titles, encouraging teenagers to explore diverse literary works, engage in critical discussions, and participate in the voting process, promoting a lifelong love for reading within the youth demographic.
