We applied many of our findings and paradigms into a redesign of Figma, the most popular UX/UI Design tool in the world.
This whole project seeks to make the world a more inclusive place. There are hundreds of resources for designers to create for disabled individuals, but there are few resources assuming disabled individuals are designers themselves. Why is that? Well, in part, many of the tools designers use are inaccessible to begin with. This project looks specifically at Figma, the most used web design tool, and re-designs it to better fit the needs of Blind and low-vision designers through applying our recommendations to the software.
