WESEAMS 2026

Submission Deadline: January 23, 2026

The Tun Ismail Ali Center of Excellence (TIACOE) at the Asia School of Business (ASB) will host the 2nd Workshop of the East and South-East Asian Macroeconomic Society on April 24-25, 2026 (Friday and Saturday) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The workshop will be held in person.

We are pleased to announce the following confirmed keynote speakers:

• Refet S. Gürkaynak (Bilkent University)

• Sagiri Kitao (ADBI and GRIPS)

We invite submissions from all areas of macroeconomics. Both completed manuscripts and extended abstracts are welcome. Submissions should be made electronically via the following link: https://forms.gle/uWnqGqEaEyg2gJbu8

• Paper title

A confirmation e-mail will be sent to acknowledge receipt.

• Submission deadline: January 23, 2026 (Friday).

• Target notification of acceptance: February 13, 2026 (Friday).

Please note that no travel or accommodation support is available for this workshop. Meals will be provided during the event. Limited on-site accommodation is available on a first-come, first-served basis at participants’ own cost. Submitting authors are expected to present.
