Dear Vikings,
In this holiday season, let us pause and reflect on the semester, and celebrate the values that have guided our journey: innovation, Viking community spirit, sustainability, and enduring commitments.
This semester, we leaned into bold ideas, fostering a culture of innovation that addresses today’s challenges while laying the groundwork for a thriving and sustainable future. Our Viking spirit has shone brightly in moments of unity and collaboration, reminding us of the unique bond we share at Augustana.
As we reflect, we see how “the past became prologue” to our present achievements. The foundations laid by those who came before us, grounded in Augustana’s rich Lutheran heritage and its commitment to faith, service, and learning, continue to shape our path. This history inspires us to move forward with purpose and vision, ensuring that what we do today matters tomorrow.
The Christmas season invites us to find joy in hope and renewal, reflecting on grace, the strength of our community, and the promise of new beginnings. It’s a season to be grateful for our shared journey and look forward to what lies ahead with optimism and purpose.
