BOOK A WRITING CENTER TUTOR

If you need additional help, the Writing Center also has tutoring available. The Writing Center is located in B-200 and open for in-person and virtual tutoring.

For walk-in appointments, please arrive before the beginning of a Writing Center session (usually the same as a class period). To make an appointment, use Navigate online or the Navigate Student app. 

THE LAGUARDIA LIBRARY

LaGuardia's library offers many options for students. You can find books, videos, textbooks, research, and articles for your classes. They also have citation help, events, and workshops. Including an "Ask the Librarian" feature!!

THE READING LAB

LaGuardia's Communication Skills Reading LAB  helps students enhance and develop the necessary cognitive tools to read, comprehend, and retain the wide variety of college-level materials necessary to succeed in LaGuardia's degree programs, and/or to move on to four-year institutions. The lab staff can provide support for students in three categories of courses:

• 0 credit courses (both developmental or ESL courses),

• 3 credit CSE elective courses (CSE 105, CSE 110, CSE 120, and CSE 150) and

• 3 and 4 credit courses for major and elective courses.
