At this year's ASAN meeting, we will be operating on a fully interactive, online conference venue that will allow for the social interaction of a traditional F2F conference, while keeping the convenient and remote nature of an online meeting.
What does that mean? No Zoom rooms! The ability to talk to individuals in groups of 1, 2 or 25! And, most importantly for an online conference, the ability to interact in real-time with presenters and ask questions!
See below for information about each presentation type. Further instructions will follow upon acceptance of your abstract.
The Abstract submission date has been extended to 31/10/21 - Get in now!
A traditional poster, presented digitally!
There will be a live poster session in which all presenters will stand by their poster ready to engage with the audience - just as we would see at a face-to-face conference. Presenters will have the option to record a 3-minute video to accompany their poster for the benefit of those viewing the posters outside of the designated poster time.
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
One static slide (submitted as a PDF prior to the conference), with an optional 3-minute video presentation to accompany the poster.
It is expected that those presenting a poster will be available to accompany their poster during the live poster session.
3 Slides in 5 minutes!
Presenters will be able to share their screen with the audience to present their research in 3 slides (or less), with time for audience questions.
PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS:
Maximum 5 minutes in length, maximum 3 slides.
A ten-minute live presentation, with questions to follow.
We welcome both laboratory/study-based talks as well as applied/field-based talks.
If you would like to present something that doesn't fit within the above areas or presentation types, please enter that in the abstract submission box and we will be in contact.
