A Salute to Soldiers is an annual event held in western Massachusetts that raises money to benefit America's VetDogs, a non-profit 501(c)3 that breeds and trains service dogs to be placed in the homes of disabled United States veterans, active-duty military members, and first responders. It costs more than $50,000 to breed and train one service dog, however all of AVD's services are provided at no cost to their veteran.
