Asaf Rubin has a PhD in Management Science from the University of Witwatersrand, and is a graduate of INSEAD's MBA program (Class of 25J) .
Previously, Asaf was a Global Data Insights Consultant for global executive search and leadership advisory firm Russell Reynolds Associates in the Board and CEO Advisory Practice (BCAP), where he worked on business development, thought leadership, data analytics and strategy & operations. He was based in the firm's London office from 2019 - 2024.
Asaf was educated in his hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa. He obtained his PhD in Management Science from the University of the Witwatersrand (School of Economics and Business Science) in December 2018, supervised by Professor Chris Callaghan. His thesis investigated the relationship between technological innovation and research productivity. Previously, Asaf obtained a Bachelor of Commerce form the University of Johannesburg and a Master of Commerce from Wits University.
