About Me
I am currently working as an Associate Research Scientist at Johns Hopkins University. However, my office is located at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), as I am part of the team working on TRECVID, the premier international workshop for evaluating content-based video retrieval. Previously, I worked as Assistant Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan from November 2013 - February 2017. I was also the Head of the Department for Innovative Technologies in Learning from August 2015 - January 2017. I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in August 2013. I was a member of LPAC, and worked under the supervision of Dr. Robert Collins. My PhD thesis was titled "“Multi-Target Tracking Using Higher-Order Motion Models”.
