3D Face Reconstruction

This work was done as part of my internship at TCS Research and Innovation Labs.

In this work we do study of the success of 3D face reconstruction methods and the use of 3D Morphable Face Models for various tasks, including face analysis and recognition. It was seen that The Surrey Face Model weer being used in this work to study the local behavior of the surface and improve the local reconstruction. Although, this work had the potential to contribute to the development of more accurate and effective 3D face reconstruction methods with important applications in various fields.

Thus, as part of my internship, we explored different methodologies and proposed an objective function and optimization problem to improve these leap areas. Below image shows the results.

As this work was part of confidential project the details of exact proposed pipeline implementation can't be explained here.
