VPN Activation Flowchart
在家中要進入院內行政系統，一定需要連上院內VPN，請一定務必絕對要參考流程圖及下方詳細手冊進行設定。

Please visit the webpage (https://asbpm.its.sinica.edu.tw) to activate your VPN service.
If you have not using VPN services for 90 contiguous days, it will be disabled automatically. In that case, if you still need to use the VPN service, you will need to re-activate your VPN account.
After connecting to VPN, if you don't browse the web within one hour, the connection will be automatically disconnected. Please close the browser (or close the app on your cellphone), re-connect to VPN, and then open the web browser again.
Please connect to the VPN when necessary to avoid it affect the Internet speed.
就是連不上的障礙排除
I still can't fix my VPN connection problem...
我的帳號密碼都對，就是連不上！/ VPN本來還可以用現在就不行！/ VPN是不是現在有問題無法連線?
Why is my VPN connection not working even if I input the correct ID/password?
根據我們服務經驗，有80%以上同仁都是打錯密碼或6位數動態碼→請先將密碼打在記事本之類程式，複製密碼貼上，以免情急下打錯。
It is very likely that there were typos when you input your account, password and the 6-digit number (shown in the Google Authenticator APP). Note that you need to input your full email address (such as abc@gate.sinica.edu.tw), correct password and the 6-digit code.
To prevent from entering the wrong password in a hurry, we suggest that you can type your password in the notepad (or other editors) to ensure its correctness, and then use
"copy and paste" function to input the password on FortiClient.
6位數動態碼請等待新一輪開始再打(圓餅繞出新的一圈時)，不要賭手速。
Note that the 6-digit number expires every 30 seconds on Google Authenticator APP, and you will need to wait for another round of a new code if you cannot finish the whole process within the time limit.
我本來VPN連線好好的，現在都不能登入，一直說我帳號密碼錯誤，但我確定有連線VPN!!!
My VPN connection works, but now I can't login in. The login page keeps saying both my account and password are wrong, but I'm sure that my VPN connection is successful.
VPN連線後如一個小時內都沒有任何瀏覽網頁動作會自動斷線。請關閉瀏覽器（手機請關閉app），重新連上VPN之後再開啟網頁進行操作。
The VPN may disconnect automatically if there are no activities for one hour. In this case, please close the browser (or phone app) and reconnect to VPN for further actions.
VPN很久以前使用過，現在都不能連耶！(已失效)

VPN如開啟後，90天內都未曾連線會自動關閉。請依照<VPN連線說明>進行設定。

VPN的6位數字動態碼到底有沒有效？

If you have never used VPN before, please refer to the document, “How to Connect VPN”, to activate the VPN service.有開過但很久沒用了，印象中也收過VPN即將到期通知>請參考<VPN連線說明>直接啟用
If you have used VPN long time ago and received the letter entitled “Notice: Academia Sinica VPN Service will Expire Soon”, please refer to the document, “How to Connect VPN”, to re-activate the VPN service.以上全都不清楚>請參考<VPN連線說明>先關閉再啟用，手機原本的KEY務必刪掉，重新掃描最新QRcode.
If you still problems in the VPN service, please delete the original OTP KEY of Google Authenticator on your smart phone, and refer to the document, “How to Connect VPN”, to re-activate your VPN account using the latest QRcode.
我的手機調快幾分鐘，會影響登入！？
If my cellphone is adjusted for a few minutes ahead, will it affect my login to the VPN service?
6位數動態碼需配合標準時間進行計算，請勿手動調整手機時間，會讓你永遠登不進去。
The generation of the 6-digit number is based on the standard time. Thus, please make sure your cellphone is time synchronized to the global time server.
