About Me
Hello, I'm Arya! I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems at San Jose State University and am expected to graduate in May 2026. I am a driven, solution-oriented, and creative individual who values versatility and seeks diverse, well-rounded experiences. With a growing passion for user experience (UX) design, I aim to blend innovation, empathy, and strategy to create impactful, user-centered solutions. Through my academic journey and professional endeavors, I strive to make meaningful contributions to every opportunity I undertake.
I have gained diverse experience through roles that showcase my adaptability and dedication. As a Marketing Intern at United Business Bank, I led digital marketing initiatives by optimizing 30+ branch listings across platforms, designing LinkedIn campaigns and graphics, and creating structured content calendars to strengthen the bank’s online presence. At the San Jose Consulting Group, I began as an Analyst conducting market research and competitive analysis, and I now serve as a Project Manager, overseeing client engagements by coordinating analyst teams, developing research deliverables, and presenting strategic recommendations to startups and nonprofit organizations. As a Research Assistant for UROP, I conducted in-depth industry interviews, co-authored business case studies, and developed analytical frameworks that sharpened my problem-solving and research skills. At Orangetheory Fitness, I strengthened my communication and customer service abilities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Additionally, as a member of the Marketing Committee for Alpha Kappa Psi, I designed graphics, logos, and fundraising flyers to effectively promote events and initiatives, leveraging both creativity and attention to detail.
Outside of my professional roles, I am passionate about travel, graphic design, and dance. As a freelance graphic designer, I’ve worked on creating logos, welcome boards, invitations, and other designs, combining creativity with attention to detail to meet clients' needs. My love for dance has been a significant part of my life, which has most recently shown in my time on SJSU’s competitive Bollywood dance team, Sahaara. Being a part of this team allowed me to travel across the country to compete at national competitions, fostering teamwork, discipline, and cultural pride. Additionally, my passion for exploration and learning has inspired me to study abroad next year. I’m eager to immerse myself in a new culture, expand my horizons, and gain a global perspective that will further shape my personal and professional growth.
