In Fall 2024, I teach Calculus 1 (undergraduate course) and Elementary Number Theory (undergraduate and graduate course) at New Mexico State University.
In the Fall of 2024, I am participating inthe NMSU-MÁS program, a teaching development program on active learning.
I am awarded the AMS-Simons Travel Award in July 2024.
In Sep 2024, I will speak in a special session on "Homological Commutative Algebra"at the AMS Fall Central Meeting at the University of Texas, San Antonio.
In Dec 2024, I will speak in a special session on "Algebraic Combinatorics and Matroids" at the joint meeting of NZMS, AustMS, and AMS at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
In Jan 2025, I will speak in a special session on "Applied and Computational Commutative Algebra" at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Seattle, Washington.
Undergraduate Activities
I designed and executed a five-week undergraduate research program during the summer of 2024. In this program, I mentored undergraduate student Joshua Pomeroy and graduate student Le Tran. As an outcome of this program, we wrote an article together(link).
