Arvion Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
Arvion is a wealth and personal finance companion developed by the Arvanix Studio team (“Arvion,” “we,” “the app”). We collect and process data solely to deliver app functionality, provide support, and comply with applicable law.
2. Data We Collect
• Account and profile data: name, email address, preferred currency, language, authentication credentials, and any recovery information you supply while onboarding.
• Financial content: accounts you create, balances, transactions, categories, notes, budgets, goals, attachments, imported CSV files, and any other records you enter or upload.
• Device and technical data: device model, operating system, locale, app version, crash/diagnostic logs, and anonymized analytics gathered through native SDKs to keep the app stable across platforms.
• Security data: encrypted keys, biometric signals provided by Apple/Google/OS-level APIs, and one-time codes used for account unlock.
• Support communications: messages, screenshots, or documents you send to us by email or via any in‑app form.
• Shared/Exported content: files or links you choose to generate or share (e.g., CSV exports). These remain under your control.
Arvion does not collect your contacts, precise location, photo library, microphone, or camera content unless you explicitly grant access for a specific feature.
3. How We Use Data
• Create and maintain your account across devices you authorize.
• Store your financial records locally with SQLite/secure storage and keep them available offline.
• Provide charts, insights, reminders, and personalization based on the information you save.
• Enable optional biometric or passcode re‑entry.
• Diagnose bugs, optimize performance, and safeguard against fraud or abuse.
• Respond to support requests and fulfill legal obligations.
• Produce aggregated, de-identified statistics to understand how features are used and to roadmap improvements.
4. Legal Bases
We process data based on: (i) your consent, (ii) the contract formed when you install and use Arvion, (iii) our legitimate interests in improving and protecting the service, and (iv) compliance with legal duties (tax, accounting, consumer protection).
5. Storage and Retention
Financial records remain on your device inside encrypted SQLite databases or secure preferences. We retain data only as long as you keep it inside the app or until retention is no longer necessary for the purposes outlined above. Deleting the app or using in-app “Reset / Wipe data” tools removes local information. If you email us, we store the thread for up to 24 months unless law requires a longer period.
6. Sharing with Third Parties
• Platform providers (Apple, Google) when needed to deliver push notifications, in-app purchases, crash diagnostics, or OS-level backups.
• Authentication and security frameworks when you enable biometrics (the raw biometric data never leaves your device).
• File systems or other apps you pick when exporting or sharing reports.
• Government authorities or advisors only if required by law, court order, or to defend our rights.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
7. International Transfers
If support interactions or diagnostics require processing outside your country, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your information.
8. Your Rights
Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdraw consent at any time. You can also object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Use the contact details below for any request; we will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
Data-at-rest is kept inside device-level sandboxing, SQLite encryption, and flutter_secure_storage. Data-in-transit (e.g., support emails) uses TLS. Biometrics and passcodes add an extra layer of protection, but no method is perfect; we will notify affected users and regulators of any breach as required.
10. Children
Arvion targets users who are at least 16 years old. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as Arvion evolves. The latest version and effective date will always be available in-app and on our website. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
