Today is a truly special day in my academic journey. I am deeply humbled to receive a 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 from 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗖𝗖𝗨) in recognition of being listed among the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟮% 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗘𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿.
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work on exciting and impactful research in the fields of 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀, and 𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀. Being ranked among the 𝘁𝗼𝗽 𝟮% 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 is a reminder that hard work, dedication, and a commitment to innovation can lead to recognition.
I sincerely thank CCU for this wonderful honor and for providing an environment that fosters innovation and excellence. We Developed an innovative lathe protective cover to enhance safety and operational efficiency in the hand tool manufacturing industry. This solution addresses the challenge of hot chips and debris being ejected during continuous production on lathe machines, which poses a safety risk to employees. The protective cover effectively prevents these hazards, ensuring improved safety, compliance with industrial safety regulations, and optimized metal scrap waste management, while contributing to overall operational efficiency. This solution provides a comprehensive approach to meeting safety standards in a high-risk manufacturing environment.

These presentations were part of the ongoing research conducted by the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗼-𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, National Chung Cheng University. The platform provided an invaluable opportunity to share our research findings, methodologies, and the potential applications of hyperspectral imaging in environmental and medical diagnostics. The conference was an exceptional opportunity to engage with global experts, fostering meaningful discussions on the latest advancements and trends in 𝗵𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆. The exchange of ideas and 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 was evident as we explored innovative solutions to pressing global challenges. Beyond the academic engagements, exploring South Korea added a cultural dimension to the experience. Visits to 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, with its picturesque scenery, the historical and geopolitical significance of the 𝗗𝗠𝗭, the vibrant atmosphere of 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, and the architectural grandeur of 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗮'𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 enriched my understanding of the country's heritage and contemporary life. The combination of academic enrichment and cultural exploration made 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗶𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 an unforgettable experience. The insights gained and connections made will undoubtedly enhance my future research endeavors. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to and learn from this esteemed conference.

I'm thrilled to share that I've recently completed teaching the course "Discovering Colors Beyond the Rainbow: An Introduction to Hyperspectral Imaging" at Perpetual Help High School, as part of the Scholars Taiwan program under the University Access Programme of National Chung Cheng University. It has been an enriching experience introducing high school students to the fascinating world of hyperspectral imaging. During the course, it was inspiring to witness the students' curiosity and eagerness to learn about advanced imaging technologies. Exploring topics from spectral analysis to real-world applications in environmental monitoring and beyond, their engagement truly highlighted the potential of integrating cutting-edge technology into education. I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the Scholars Taiwan program and support the next generation of scholars in their educational journey. Special thanks to Perpetual Help High School for their warm welcome and enthusiastic participation throughout the course. I'm excited to announce that I had the incredible opportunity to present at the Seventh International Workshop on UV Materials and Devices (IWUMD 2024) held in Taipei on June 3, 2024. My presentation focused on the topic titled "Design, Development and Validation of a Portable Hyperspectral Imaging Module for Differentiating Original and Duplicate Holograms". This experience was truly remarkable and enlightening. From the moment I arrived at the venue, I was surrounded by brilliant minds and cutting-edge research in the field of UV materials and devices. The workshop provided a platform for researchers, academicians, and industry professionals from around the globe to come together, share knowledge, and foster collaborations. One of the highlights of the event was the diversity of topics covered. From innovative UV LED applications in medicine to advancements in laser technologies, the presentations showcased the immense potential and versatility of UV materials. Presenting my research was a thrilling experience. The audience's enthusiasm and thought-provoking questions encouraged me to delve deeper into my topic, enhancing my understanding and appreciation of the subject. The feedback I received was invaluable, providing new perspectives that will undoubtedly shape the future direction of my research.

As the Advisor of the National Chung Cheng University Optica Student Chapter, I had the privilege of presenting at our annual meeting, where we celebrated a year filled with remarkable achievements and substantial academic and industrial engagements. Our chapter, led by President Hsiang-Chen Wang, has fostered a vibrant community that bridges the gap between academia and industry. This year, we ventured beyond the classroom, organizing insightful visits to leading tech companies and manufacturing giants such as TSMC, Tianheng Machinery Co., and Jiayou Electronics. These visits not only provided our students with a firsthand look at industry practices but also opened up discussions on future technological innovations. One of the highlights of this year was our focus on integrating advanced technologies like AI with optical sciences. Looking forward, we are excited to announce upcoming industrial visits to Redai Precision Tools and PlayNitride Inc., which promise to offer more learning opportunities and industry exposure to our students. We are also planning to expand our educational offerings with more specialized courses and workshops that cater to the evolving needs of our students and the broader optical community. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our students and the support from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Chung Cheng University. The collaboration and spirit of inquiry that our members bring to the table have been the cornerstone of our chapter's success. As we close another fruitful year, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to lead such an enthusiastic group of future leaders in optics. The convergence of diverse ideas and the relentless pursuit of knowledge among our members assure me that the future of optical sciences is in capable hands.

As I reflect on my transformative 15-month internship at Redai Precision Tools (June 2022 - August 2023) in Dalin Township, Chiayi County, Taiwan, I am grateful for the opportunities that honed my professional skills and left a lasting impact on the company. During my time at Redai, I developed a universal chuck shield for hydraulic lathe machines, enhancing workplace safety by protecting employees from flying chips. This project challenged my technical abilities and deepened my appreciation for innovative safety solutions in manufacturing. Additionally, I redesigned and developed Redai’s website (www.redai.com.tw), blending creativity with functionality to improve the user experience and encapsulate Redai’s brand essence. Another significant achievement was implementing automation of OCR with Microsoft’s API, revolutionizing the company's invoice processing by integrating it seamlessly into its ERP system, which significantly improved efficiency and accuracy. As I share this on May 3rd, 2024, I look back with immense gratitude for the opportunities and experiences at Redai Precision Tools. The skills and insights gained are invaluable and will undoubtedly influence my professional journey ahead. Thank you, Redai Precision Tools, for a memorable and enriching experience! I am thrilled to share my experience presenting our cutting-edge inventions from Hitspectra Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. at the prestigious 2024 Taiwan-Philippines Industrial Collaboration Summit at the National Science and Technology Council, Taiwan, on March 20th, 2024. As the Senior Project Engineer at Hitspectra, it was an honor to showcase our latest breakthrough, the Spectrum-Aided Visual Enhancer (SAVE). I elaborated on how SAVE revolutionizes the field by converting WLI into NBI images, offering unparalleled clarity and precision. We also discussed the vast potential of our technology across sectors like agriculture, biomedical imaging, remote sensing, and counterfeiting detection. The summit highlighted the shared commitment to fostering innovation between Taiwan and the Philippines. I am deeply grateful to the Institute for Information Industry (III) for inviting us, providing a platform to showcase our capabilities and explore collaboration opportunities. This summit underscored the power of international cooperation in fueling innovation. I am excited about the future opportunities as we continue to push the boundaries of technology and create impactful solutions. The Specialization also explored the powerful synergy between Six Sigma and Lean methodologies, providing a holistic view of process improvement. What sets this certification apart is the comprehensive knowledge it imparts, going beyond the Green Belt level. I gained insights into Organizational Planning and Development, Team Management, and Design for Six Sigma, making me a well-rounded professional equipped to drive impactful change within any organization. One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey was the opportunity to work on a capstone-style peer-reviewed project grounded in the DMAIC process. Implementing this project allowed me to apply the knowledge gained and ensure that the deliverables aligned perfectly with the course content.
