Track & Field Fundraiser
Track & Field Fundraiser
We need your help! The Arvada West High School Track & Field team needs your support to help our talented athletes continue to thrive in their sport. Donations from our fundraiser will help fund essential resources such as meet entry fees, equipment, uniforms, and more, ensuring our athletes have everything they need to perform at their best.
We would like to ask all Track & Field athletes to participate in our fundraiser. On Thursday, April 3, all Track & Field athletes are required to meet in The Commons at 3:30 p.m. for an exciting 45 minutes of fundraising (athletes will attend practice after the fundraising event).
We are hosting a Text to Donate event. Athletes will contact their supporters using a personalized direct text message. We are asking each athlete to raise $200. Athletes who receive at least 3 donations during the event will have their name entered into a drawing for a cool Track & Field sweatshirt!
Please print and complete this form, and bring the form to the event on Thursday. Each athlete is required to add 30 names and cell phone numbers of potential donors to the contact list for the event.
In addition to the event, on Thursday evening, we will send a link and social media post to the team to share with family, friends, and community members to help us reach our goal of $15,000. The deadline for donations is Friday, April 18.
Cash or check donations are accepted as well. Please contact Della at della.moore@jeffco.k12.co.us for more details.

The banquet for Arvada West Track & Field will be held on Thursday, May 22, at 6:00 p.m. in The Commons at Arvada West High School.
Cake and beverages will be served. Please RSVP number of attendees to Della by Friday, May 16.

Reminder - Policies and Information Packet Signature Page

Thank you to those who attended our Track & Field Parent/Athlete meeting. Please make sure to read through the Arvada West Track & Field Policies and Information packet located here. We realize it is a lot of information, but the season will run smoothly if everyone reads the entire packet. All athletes and their parents must sign and return the acknowledgement page of the packet (last page). Please return this to Della Moore at practice no later than Friday, March 14.

Gym Lockers
If a Track & Field athlete would like to have a gym locker, they must go see a PE teacher and purchase a $5 lock from them. Please bring $5 cash. The athlete can then choose a locker in the athletic locker room. Locks must be purchased BEFORE school starts in the morning. Locks are available on a first come first served basis.

Congratulations to Track & Field athlete Thomas Thomas!
Thomas signed with Hastings College in Nebraska to compete in Track & Field. He’s been a member of our Arvada West Track & Field
team for four years, earning a letter each year. Specializing in the 1600-meter run, Thomas is our top returner heading into the
upcoming season. In addition to his success in track, Thomas has also been a member of the Arvada West soccer team for all
four years and will continue to play soccer at Hastings College as well. His contributions to our team have been invaluable, and
he will certainly be missed by both teammates and coaches. We’re excited to see what he accomplishes in his college career.

If an athlete is not going to be at practice for any reason, a parent or guardian must notify Della at della.moore@jeffco.k12.co.us in advance by email. Do NOT simply notify a teammate.

Admission to Meets at Jeffco Stadium

Jeffco has gone CASHLESS for all district athletic events. Click here for information on how to purchase tickets to our meets at Jeffco Stadium for spectators. Admission for Track & Field athletes is always free. For Jeffco Stadium, you can purchase tickets in advance, or pay by credit card at the gate. Cash will not be accepted.
Jeffco Athletics has partnered with Go Fan digital ticketing for varsity athletics events. Fans can purchase tickets one of four ways:
Purchase Punch Passes online via Jeffco Public Schools Go Fan Box Office.
If you would like to search a Single Game ticket please use Go Fan Box Office to search your event.
Download the GoFan App for Apple or Android.
Scan the displayed QR Code displayed at each stadium.
Use a credit card onsite; cash or checks not accepted.
The GoFan online ticketing system allows Jeffco Athletics to operate a more efficient and professional ticketing system while elevating the fan experience. Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to arriving at the facility. For convenience, signage will be set up at the venue to help fans navigate an online purchase quickly and easily.
Other stadiums charge admission fees for spectators and this will be included with the meet information on the Meet Information Tab – if we are aware.

Volunteers needed at Meets at Jeffco Stadium
During some of the Jeffco meets, we need to supply volunteers to run Events. A Coach or a CHSAA Official will be the Official for the event, but we need volunteers for wind gauge, raking, measuring, etc. If an athlete volunteers, they are eligible to receive 1 letter point once during the season. If athletes or parents are interested in helping for the following dates, please contact Della asap at della.moore@jeffco.k12.co.us.
