Dear Parents and Prospective Students,

1) Rates: My current rates are: $25 for a half-hour lesson, $35 for a forty-five minute lesson, and $45 for an hour lesson. Students who qualify for free or reduced price lunch receive $10 off those rates.
2) Scheduling: I follow the Jeffco school semester schedule including holidays. Please inform me of any known scheduling conflicts at the beginning of each semester. Students are expected to commit to attending lessons regularly for the entire semester. Once the schedule is set each semester, I will post a calendar on the homepage of this site so students can view their upcoming lessons.
3) Payment: Students are required to pre-pay for lessons either on a month-to-month basis where payment is received at the first lesson of each month or by semester. Fall and Spring semesters typically include 15 weeks of lessons. A receipt will be provided upon receiving payment. Payments may be made by check, VENMO (@Steven-Terpenning), or other agreed upon method.
4) Missed lessons: Two excused absences per semester are allowed if I am notified at least 24 hours in advance. The payment for those lessons will either be refunded or rolled over to the following pay period. As a general policy I am not able to offer make-up lessons. If I have to cancel a lesson or if Jeffco schools are closed due to a snow day, the cost of that day's lesson will be refunded.
5) Parents are invited to attend lessons. If you do leave and come back to pick up, please be prompt. Parents are welcome to wait during lessons in our living room, but please be respectful of our home.
