Over the past 50 years, more than twenty thousand boys and girls have participated in the Arvada Hockey Association – a non-profit organization based in the heart of Arvada, Colorado.  Hockey is a unique sport that requires unwavering dedication and extreme commitment. 

Since the inception of the Financial Assistance Program, AHA has awarded over 419 financial scholarships totaling more than $274,000 to families in need and helped make playing hockey a reality for their athletes. To that end, we need your help.

On Friday, August 11th we will be hosting the 23rd Annual Arvada Hockey Associations’ Golf Tournament at Applewood Course.  This tournament is our largest annual fund raising endeavor.  The proceeds of the event benefit the overall membership, but more specifically, the Arvada Hockey Association Financial Assistance Program.  Created in 2000, the program was designed to help support players in times of financial need.  To secure a scholarship from the Association, families must clearly demonstrate their need, the players must exhibit dedication to their education, and together with their families must be willing to volunteer in our community beyond the minimum expectation.  Together with your support, we can make a difference by contributing to the success of these players today and tomorrow.
