Shashi joined as an Integrated MS-PhD in the department of Biological Sciences at IISER Mohali in 2016.

He joined the lab as a PhD student in August, 2018.

He is currently investigating the role of Vibrio cholerae OmpU in modulating host intestinal immune responses.
