Donna has worked with our son over a number of years in her previous capacity as a Disability Employment Maintenance Officer.
During that time she displayed her talents of seeing the real needs of our son, understanding and implementing the strategies that would enable him to succeed and constantly liaising with his workplace to ensure these outcomes were maintained.
Donna's intuition and empathy extends to the family and her holistic approach to providing the best outcome shines through.
We are delighted Donna has Aruga up and running and look forward to taking steps towards our son's independence with her guidance.
Kind regards
Lian - David's Mum
My son, Matthew, uses Aruga Disability Services. He is 21 years old and has an intellectual disability. Donna, who supports him, is kind, creative, and very caring — someone I truly appreciate and trust with my son.
She has helped Matthew improve his daily routine and has motivated and guided him in a very positive way. With Donna’s support, Matthew was able to gain the confidence and skills to obtain his driver’s licence and purchase his own car, which has been a huge milestone for him. She treats him no differently than she would someone without a disability, which means so much to us.
Matthew usually finds it very difficult to connect with people or even to go out, but with Donna he feels comfortable and confident. He often asks, “When can we see her again?”
We are extremely thankful and blessed to have her. Thank you to Aruga Disability Services.

Thank you for the Gifts.
Merry Christmas to you and your Family too.
I think we chose the best carer for Emily and we thank you.
We are looking forward to having more time next year.

I have known Donna for many years. She has been Matthew's Jobsupport person and now a carer for him.
Matthew is 29 years old and Donna helps him with his day to day living and social skills.
Donna has gone above and beyond in her time with Matthew.
Donna is not only a friend but has now become like a member of our family.
Thank you Aruga.
Samoan - Matthew's Mum
I joined Aruga close to the end of last year.
First with Donna helping me with Daily Life Skills and keeping my house tidy. I also do social outing with Donna and the group. I enjoy my time with Aruga.
Really Good.
