At Arty's Wild Lens (a product of Red Bell LLC), we are committed to providing you with total transparency regarding your botanical and nature data. This page explains how your data is handled and how you can manage it.
Arty's Wild Lens uses Google Sign-In (SSO) to provide a unique user identity across your devices.
3D Model Ownership: When you purchase a digital asset (like a 3D model) from our store, an "owned tag" is permanently associated with your Google Account in our cloud ledger.
Automatic Restoration: You do not lose your purchased models if you delete the app. There is no "Restore" button required; the app automatically verifies your Google Play receipts and syncs your owned assets from the cloud the moment you sign back in.
⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING ON DATA LOSS: To maximize privacy, the following data is currently stored ONLY on your physical device in a local database:
Nursery: All saved plants, care history, and growth logs.
Nature Journal: All recorded entries for Birds and Insects, including identified species, custom notes, and media.
Uninstalling Arty's Wild Lens or "Clearing All Data" in your device settings will permanently and irreversibly delete your entire Nature Journal and Nursery. We are currently developing a cloud backup solution for a future update.
You have granular control over your data through the Settings menu in the app:
Clear 3D Model Cache: You can remove downloaded 3D assets to free up space. This does not delete your ownership; you can redownload them later.
Clear Audio/Video Cache: You can delete heavy media files from your Nature Journal while keeping your text entries intact.
System-Level Reset: Clearing "All Data" via Android Settings will wipe your local journals and Nursery and reset your anonymous Firebase identifier.
If you wish to formally request the deletion of your account identity and any records associated with your Google Sign-In, we provide two paths:
In-App Path: Navigate to your Profile and tap "Request Account & Data Deletion".
Web Request: You may initiate a deletion request without the app installed by emailing us directly.
