Here are some videos that the students can watch to help learn about color and other art concepts!
The first one, "The Colors Song," is one that most of the classes have listened to many times and LOVE - don't be surprised if they start singing along!
P.S. Scratch Garden on YouTube has SO many great educational videos for this age group - be sure to check them out!
In class, the students almost always get to hear stories that go with their projects. Here are access to all of them that we've read so far - as well as some of the books we've read in first grade!
Most of the books read for Kindergarten have a voice over of me reading them - if you would rather your child try to read on his/her own or you'd like to read it to them, just turn your volume down.
Because most of the books are through PowerPoint, some are too large to preview on here. Each PowerPoint has the book title next to it (or under it, if you are on a phone).
How to view the book:
If you are on a computer:
Click, "Download"

If you're on a phone or tablet and have to open them, as of right now, you need my permission to view. As long as you request to view it, I will give permission as soon as possible. During school hours, I should have my laptop close by and should be able to give permission almost instantly.
